Youth Voice | Nguyen Thi Huyen: ASEAN-Focused Initiative Reduces Ocean Single-Use Plastic Pollution

Nguyen Thi Huyen from Vietnam has brought to the 2025 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development. The project focuses on reducing single-use plastic pollution in the ocean within Vietnam and the broader ASEAN region. Her initiative implements awareness-raising campaigns for young people across ASEAN while simultaneously building their capacity to take concrete action.
