Youth Voice | Adebimpe Morenikeji Fatimah: Ibadan Debate Project Builds Core Skills for Nigerian Students

At the 2025 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development, Adebimpe Morenikeji Fatimah from Nigeria, a member of the Black Girls Dream Initiative, introduced the "Ibadan Schools Debate Training and Competition"project. Since 2021, the initiative has been equipping secondary school students in Ibadan, Oyo State, with essential skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and research. By fostering these competencies, the project aims to enhance students’ employability in a context of high youth unemployment in Nigeria, while also creating opportunities for networking and collaboration across borders to extend its educational impact globally.(Editor: Liangyan, Zhang Minyu)
