Youth Voice | Matheus Morais Pires: Kids Bank Account Program Builds Sustainable Teen Financial Education System

Matheus Morais Pires, Growth Marketing Manager of international Bank, Brazil. At the 2025 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development, he shared his kids bank account program. This program breaks down the barriers of traditional financial education through technological means. It aims to build a sustainable financial education system and promote inclusive economic growth by providing free digital accounts to teenagers under the age of 18. To date, it has successfully opened 5 million youth accounts, of which 3.3 million are active (with an average monthly increase of 100,000). Furthermore, 17,000 users have continued practicing smart financial management habits into adulthood, and 22% of the accounts have initiated future investment plans.(Editor: Wang Shuocheng, Zhang Minyu)
