Youth Voice | Armando: Sign Language & Skills Training Break Structural Barriers

Armando Vieira, Head Leader of PAMOSSI - VIVA SURDO, Angola. At the 2025 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development, he presented a project enhancing self-sufficiency for Angola’s deaf community through targeted vocational training in electrical work, beauty services, and cooking. By mobilizing social resources, the program established a support system including internships, charity aid, and free sign language courses. It specifically empowered women through yogurt production training and a collaboration with "Miss Angola," reaching 150 participants to address structural barriers in education, employment, and gender equality.(Editor: Liangyan, Zhang Minyu)
